Switching power interruptions on September 7 in Davao City and Davao del Norte

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Sunday, September 7, in different parts of Davao City and Davao del Norte.
The first set of switching power interruptions is necessary to facilitate the relocation of pole guying at Bunawan overpass and substation works at the San Vicente Substation. To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m..
Specifically affected are those from Tadeco Road to New Malitbog and Tadeco Substation, including Manay Road, Alejal Road, Biopulp Carmen, La Libertad Road, and TADECO Central, from Sto. Tomas Substation to Sto. Tomas proper, including Kinawayan, Katipunan, Luna, and Marsman, portion of Daang Maharlika Highway in Panabo from Panabo City Hall up to the entire Panabo, including Gredu and portions of Carmen areas from Sto. Nino Elementary School to Tuganay. This includes Steel Asia, DICT, and Bunawan area from Daniel Perez Central Elementary School to JP Laurel Panabo to Panabo City Hall.
A 2-hour power interruption will also be conducted from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., affecting customers from San Vicente to Panabo Park and up to Maryknoll College Panabo, from San Vicente Substation to Tadeco Road up to Nanyo, Panabo Wharf and areas, and Daang Maharlika Highway from the corner of Tadeco Road to Carmen area up to Sto. Nino Elementary School, Carmen.
In connection, a 7-hour power disruption will be conducted from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to facilitate the necessary works. Customers from Bunawan BDO Network Bank up to Iglesia ni Cristo Church Bunawan, including Pacific Oil and Purok 4 Bunaply area will be affected by this service interruption.
Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.. Specifically affected are those from the San Vicente area to Panabo Park and up to Maryknoll College Panabo, from San Vicente Substation to Tadeco Road up to Nanyo, Panabo Wharf and nearby areas, Daang Maharlika Highway from the corner of Tadeco Road to Carmen up to Sto Nino Elementary School.
Also affected are those from Bunawan, from Daniel Perez Central Elementary School to JP Laurel Panabo up to Panabo City Hall, including DICT.
The second set of switching power interruptions is necessary to relocate 69kV poles near Insular Village. The loads from the affected lines will be transferred for 30 minutes anytime between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.. Meanwhile, the normalization will be for another 30 minutes anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..
Customers in Pampanga from Hizon Elementary School, Pampanga Executive Homes, Nova Tierra, Fortune Homes, Insular Village, Caltex Lanang, and nearby areas will be affected by these service disruptions.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
