Scheduled power interruptions on October 27 and 28 in Davao City and IGACOS
Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct scheduled power interruptions on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 27 and 28, 2026, affecting Davao City and the Island Garden City of Samal.
The first scheduled power interruption is necessary to facilitate Underground Cabling Project-related line work at Roxas Avenue, Davao City. This will be 8 hours, from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 27. Specifically affected are customers from the corner of C. M. Recto Street and Roxas Avenue to Padre Faura Street, including Ateneo de Davao University and nearby areas.
The second power interruption is necessary to implement line work at IGACOS. This will be 8 hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28. Customers from Cawag to Kaputian Road, including Del Monte, Anonang, Bandera, Kaputian Poblacion, Aumbay, Libertad, Pangubatan, and nearby areas will be affected by this service disruption.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
