Switching power interruptions on October 4, 5, and 6 in different parts of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, October 4, 5, and 6, in different parts of Davao City.
The first set of switching power interruptions is necessary to facilitate the civil works at Pampanga Substation. To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6.
Specifically affected are those in the entire Pampanga area, from portions of Lanang at Azuela Cove going to DPWH Panacan, including Sasa and nearby areas, and from BPI Damosa going to Roseville Subdivision, Mamay Road, and nearby areas.
The second set of switching power interruptions is necessary to conduct line works at Matina Crossing and Quimpo Boulevard. The loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 10:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 4.
Specifically affected are those from the Carabao Statue, Saavedra Street, Toril to the entire Binugao, including Sirawan, and Catigan areas; entire Dumoy to Daliao Toril, including Vales Beach; going to Libby road Toril Memorial via Bago Aplaya road, and nearby areas, the entire Puan going to Mercury Ulas, and nearby areas.
Also affected are those from the corner of Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street, from Soliman Street, Agdao to portions of F. Bangoy Street to N. Torres Street, Obrero; Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Quezon Boulevard to Bolton Bridge, including Bucana, City Hall, and SP Building, portions of Pichon Street and Bolton Extension, and neighboring areas.
Customers from the entire Maa; Diversion Road to Jade Valley, Juliville to Tigatto, Mandug, Callawa, and Indangan, and all neighboring areas; Diversion Road going to Jhaymarts Industries Maa Diversion and neighboring areas; the entire Ecoland area going to McArthur Highway, MTS, Ateneo Grade School, Ecoland IT Park up to Davao Memorial Park; Quimpo Boulevard from Bolton Bridge to South Grove; the entire Tulip Drive up to Walnut Street, will also be affected by this service disruption.
Those from Bangkal Diversion Road to Davao-Cotabato Road, corner Talomo Road to Libby Road up to South Pacific Estates, including DCWD Talomo Sump and Treatment Plant; portions of Central Park Bangkal, Taal Road up to Cordillera Street Relief Bridge; Matina Aplaya areas going to Ecoland Coastal Road Entrance; Matina Pangi areas going to Diversion Road Bean Xpress and neighboring areas, will also be affected by this power interruption.
In connection, a 1-hour power interruption will be conducted to facilitate the necessary works from 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, to 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 5, affecting customers in Matina area from McArthur Highway DILG to Matina Crossing, and from Matina Balusong to Matina Crossing and nearby areas. They will also experience a 1.5-hour power outage from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.
In addition, a 9-hour power outage will also be conducted from 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, to 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 5. Specifically affected are those from Davao Light Matina Substation to Km. 5 Guadalupe Village; from Davao Light Matina Substation along Pangi Road to Aplaya Road up to MGR Building and Church of Latter Day Saints Matina Aplaya, including Travellers Inn Building and Mercury Drug Matina Crossing; and from Davao Light Matina Substation to NCCC Centerpoint Matina Crossing and nearby areas.
Lastly, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 5. Specifically affected are those in Matina, from McArthur Highway Davao Memorial Park to Matina Crossing; Matina Aplaya area going to Ecoland Coastal Road entrance; Matina Pangi area to Diversion Road Bean Xpress, and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
