Switching power interruptions on July 6 in different parts of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Sunday, July 6, 2025, in different parts of Davao City. These are necessary to conduct line works at Matina and Langub, Diversion Road, Maa.
To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Specifically affected are those from the corner of Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street from Soliman Street, Agdao, to portions of F. Bangoy Street to N. Torres Street, Obrero. Also affected are those from Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Quezon Boulevard to Bolton Bridge, including Bucana, City Hall, and SP Building, portions of Pichon Street, and Bolton Extension, and neighboring areas.
Customers from the entire Maa area, Diversion Road to Jade Valley, Juliville to Tigatto, Mandug, Callawa, Indangan, and all neighboring areas, and from Diversion Road to Jhaymarts Industries Maa Diversion and neighboring areas will also be affected by this service disruption.
Also affected are those from Davao Memorial Park going to DILG and portions of Shrine Hills Matina, Matina Aplaya areas to Ecoland coastal road entrance, the entire Ecoland area going to McArthur Highway, MTS, Ateneo Grade School, Ecoland IT Park up to Davao Memorial Park, and Quimpo Boulevard from Bolton Bridge to South Grove, and the entire Tulip Drive up to Walnut Street.
Meanwhile, another set of line works will be conducted for 1-hour anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., and for 1 hour and 30 minutes anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., affecting customers in Matina areas, from McArthur Highway DILG to Matina Crossing, and from Matina Balusong to Matina Crossing, and nearby areas.
A 4-hour power interruption will also be conducted from 1:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., affecting customers from Jhaymarts Industries along Maa Diversion Road to the entire Matina Pangi area from Pangi Bridge to Diversion Road Bean Xpress, and neighboring areas, and portions of Matina Shrine area from Maa Diversion Road going to Dominican House of Prayer, and Langub areas.
Lastly, the normalization or return of loads to their normal set-up will be for another 45 minutes anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Specifically affected are those from the Matina areas from McArthur Highway Davao Memorial Park to Matina Crossing, Matina Aplaya areas to Ecoland coastal road entrance, Matina Pangi areas to Diversion Road Bean Xpress, and neighboring areas.
Also affected are those from the entire Ecoland area going to McArthur Highway, MTS, Ateneo Grade School, Ecoland IT Park to Davao Memorial Park, Quimpo Boulevard from Bolton Bridge to South Grove, and the entire Tulip Drive up to Walnut Street.
Customers from the entire Maa area, Diversion Road to Jade Valley, Juliville to Tigatto, Mandug, Callawa, Indangan, and all neighboring areas, and Diversion Road to Bean Xpress Matina Pangi Diversion, and neighboring areas, will also experience this normalization.
Those from the corner of Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street, from Soliman Street, Agdao to portions of F. Bangoy Street up to N. Torres Street, Obrero, and Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Quezon Boulevard to Bolton Bridge, including Bucana, City Hall, SP Building, and portions of Pichon Street and Bolton Extension, and neighboring areas, will also be affected by this power interruption.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
