Switching power interruptions on July 11 in the northern part of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Friday, July 11, 2025, in the northern part of Davao City. These are necessary to facilitate line works along Panacan Diversion Road.

To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal set-up will be for another 45 minutes anytime between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.. Specifically affected are those from Rephil Gas Station along Panacan Diversion Road up to Airport View Hotel.

A 5-hour power interruption will also be conducted from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., affecting customers from Camel Appliances along Panacan Diversion Road to Toyota Body and Paint Center, including Sta. Lucia, Camella, Diamond Heights, Country Homes, Ilumina Estates, Pagibig Homes, Remedios Heights, Orchid Hills, LPU, Sun City Road, and other nearby subdivisions and areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
