Switching power interruptions on April 27 and 28 in Davao del Norte

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Sunday and Monday, April 27 and 28, 2025, affecting customers in Davao del Norte. These are necessary to facilitate the 69kV line upgrading and preventive maintenance works at DICT Substation.
To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 27. Specifically affected are customers from San Vicente areas going to Panabo Bus Terminal and up to Maryknoll College Panabo, from San Vicente Substation going to Tadeco Road up to Nanyo, Daang Maharlika Highway from corner Tadeco Road going to Carmen area and up to Sto Nino Elementary School, Carmen.
Meanwhile, a 4-hour power interruption will be conducted to isolate lines from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. affecting Panabo Wharf areas. Moreover, an 8-hour power outage will be facilitated from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. affecting Anflocor Estates and nearby areas.
The normalization or return of loads to their normal set-up will be for 45 minutes anytime between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the same day affecting customers from Panabo Wharf areas including Anflocor estates and nearby areas.
Additionally a 45-minute normalization activity will be conducted anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28. Customers from San Vicente areas going to Panabo Bus Terminal and up to Maryknoll College Panabo, from San Vicente Substation going to Tadeco Road up to Nanyo, Panabo Wharf areas and those nearby, Daang Maharlika Highway from corner Tadeco Road going to Carmen area up to Sto Nino Elementary School, Carmen will experience this service disruption.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
