Scheduled power interruptions on September 26 and 28 in Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct scheduled power interruptions on Friday and Sunday, September 26 and 28, in different parts of Davao City.
The first schedule is necessary to facilitate the relocation of the lateral line along Maa-Magtuod Road in connection with the Maa Flyover Project. This will be conducted for 8 hours from 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, affecting customers along the Magtuod-Tugbok Road, including Monteritz Subdivision, crossing Maa Diversion, Magtuod, and Waan.
The second schedule is necessary to facilitate line stringing along Tugbok. To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 15 minutes anytime between 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 28. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 15 minutes anytime between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the same day.
Specifically affected are those along the Davao-Bukidnon Road, from Lingap-Manambulan Road to Baron Carwash in Calinan.
To facilitate the necessary works, an 8-hour power interruption will also be conducted from 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., affecting customers along the Davao-Bukindon Road, from Mt. Apo Gardens to Baron Carwash in Calinan.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
