Switching power interruptions on November 29 and December 1 in Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Saturday and Monday, November 29 and December 1, 2025, in different parts of Davao City.
The first set of switching power interruptions is necessary to facilitate DPWH works for the Maa Flyover Project. To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on the same day.
Specifically affected are those from a portion of Maa Road from Davao Light Maa to the crossing of Diversion, portion of Diversion Road from the crossing of Diversion to the crossing of Jade Valley, including Jade Valley, Jullivile, entire Tigatto, Panorama area, Mandug, Callawa, Acacia, and portion of Indangan.
In connection, an 8-hour power interruption will be conducted on the same day, from 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., affecting customers in a portion of crossing Maa and Diversion Road, from Ulticon Builders along Maa Road to the entrance of Davao Christian High School.
The second set of switching power interruptions is necessary to facilitate civil works at the Pampanga Substation. The loads will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29. Meanwhile, the return of loads will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1.
Customers from the entire Pampanga area, from portions of Lanang at Azuela Cove to DPWH Panacan, including the entire Sasa, and nearby areas, those along Mamay Road from Davao Light Substation to the crossing of Damosa, and those along J.P. Laurel Avenue from Carmelite Monastery to the crossing of Arroyo Street in R. Castillo, will be affected by these service disruptions.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
