Switching power interruptions on March 15 and 16 in Davao del Norte

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Sunday and Monday, March 15 and 16, 2026, in various parts of Davao del Norte. These are necessary to facilitate substation works at San Vicente Substation.
To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 30 minutes anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 15. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 30 minutes anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16.
Specifically affected are customers in the Gredu poblacion area, from portions of Gredu to Tadeco Road up to Nanyo Central Elementary School and nearby areas; portions of Brgy. Gredu, Brgy. San Francisco (Poblacion), and portions of Carmen from Flying V Carmen going to Tuganay and nearby areas.
Also affected are customers from Tadeco Road to new Malitbog and Tadeco Substation, including Manay Road, Alejal Road, Biopulp Carmen, La Libertad Road, and TADECO Central.
Customers from Sto. Tomas Substation to Sto. Tomas proper, including Kinawayan, Katipunan, Luna, and Marsman; from J. P. Laurel Panabo to Panabo Poblacion area; Panabo wharf; Daang Maharlika Highway up to Carmen Municipal Hall; Tadeco Road up to Nanyo, will be affected by these service disruptions.
To facilitate the necessary works, an 8-hour power interruption will be conducted from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, affecting the Anflo Industrial Estate.
Lastly, an additional normalization will be conducted for 30 minutes anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, affecting customers in the Panabo Wharf area.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
