Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, 2026, affecting some parts of Davao City.

The first power interruption is necessary to facilitate line works in the Indangan and Acacia areas. This will be an 8-hour power interruption from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, to 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 19, affecting customers from Palos Verdes Indangan entrance to Acacia up to Purok San Roque, Acacia, and nearby areas.

Meanwhile, switching power interruptions will also be conducted for line-stringing activity along R Castillo Road to Azuela. To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 30 minutes at any time between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 19. On the other hand, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 30 minutes at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the same day.

Specifically affected are customers in Pampanga, from Insular Village Lanang to DPWH Panacan, including Sasa and nearby areas; Brgy. Lapu-Lapu, Brgy. Centro Extension Agdao, Davao Firefighters, Alumina Industries, Agdao Flyover, Gotamco Agdao, and portions of Leon Garcia Street.

Also affected are those from the corner of Arroyo Street to R. Castillo crossing, Grandland, Davao Diamond Hardware, Green Dragon Lumber Supplies, Choice Mart R. Castillo, Ubalde, Go Green Oil, Daikin Aircon Phils, Alterado Hospital, and behind Porras Elementary, Villamor Street.

To facilitate the necessary works, an 8-hour power interruption will be conducted from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 19. Customers from the corner of Arroyo Street, R. Castillo Road going to SIDC Entrance, Lizada Street, including Azuela Cove and GMarket, and nearby areas; from GO Green Oil Gasoline Station along R. Castillo Street to Mindanao Trucking Corporation (MTC), and nearby areas, will be affected by this service disruption.
