Switching power interruptions on December 13 and 14 in Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14, 2025, in different parts of Davao City.
The first set of switching power interruptions is necessary to facilitate the line maintenance activities of NGCP and Davao Light at the Binugao line.
To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13. Specifically affected are customers from the entire Maa area, Diversion Road to Jade Valley, Juliville to Tigatto, Mandug, Callawa, and Indangan, and all neighboring areas; Diversion Road going to Bean Xpress Matina Pangi Diversion and neighboring areas; the entire Toril area going to Carabao statue, Eden Bayabas, including Lubogan, Tagakpan, and Manambulan and nearby areas; and from Carabao Statue, Saavedra Street Toril up to Binugao area, including Sirawan and Catigan.
An 8-hour power interruption will also be conducted to facilitate the necessary works. This will be from 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, affecting customers from Binugao Barangay Hall to Inayangan and Tibuloy.
Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, to 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 14. Customers from the Carabao Statue, Saavedra Street, Toril, up to Binugao, including Sirawan and Catigan, will be affected by this service disruption.
Also affected are those from the entire Toril area to the Carabao statue, Eden Bayabas, including Lubogan, Tagakpan, Manambulan, and nearby areas, entire Dumoy to Daliao Toril, including Vales Beach; going to Libby road Toril Memorial via Bago Aplaya road, and nearby areas, and the entire Puan to Mercury Ulas.
The second set of switching power interruptions is necessary to facilitate substation works at the Pampanga Substation.
The transfer of loads will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13. Meanwhile, the normalization will be conducted for another 45 minutes anytime between 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 14.
Specifically affected are those from the entire Pampanga area, from portions of Lanang at Azuela Cove going to DPWH Panacan, including Sasa and nearby areas; along Mamay Road from Davao Light Substation to crossing Damosa; along J.P. Laurel Avenue from Carmelite Monastery to the crossing of Arroyo Street in R. Castillo, and from Dacudao Loop going to Mamay Road, Roseville Subdivision, including SM Lanang.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
