Scheduled power interruption on September 24 in IGACOS

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct an eight-hour power interruption from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, affecting customers in the Island Garden City of Samal. This is necessary to facilitate vegetation clearing from Cawag to Kaputian.

Specifically affected are customers from Cawag to Kaputian Road, including Del Monte, Anonang, Bandera, Kaputian Poblacion, Aumbay, Libertad, Pangubatan, and nearby areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
