Emergency power interruptions on August 26 in Talicud Island

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct emergency power interruptions today, August 26, 2026, affecting Talicud Island due to generator trouble at the NPC - Talicud Diesel Power Plant.
The first 2-hour power interruption will start at any time between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., affecting selected areas of Brgy. Sta. Cruz – going to Dadatan – and Brgy. Dadatan.
Meanwhile, the second 2-hour power interruption will start at any time between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., affecting selected areas of Brgy. Sta. Cruz – going to Cogon – Brgy. Cogon, and Brgy. Linosutan.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by these emergency power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
