Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct an eight-hour power interruption on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., affecting the northwest part of Davao City. This is necessary to facilitate line upgrading works in the area.
Specifically affected are customers along Calinan-Baguio-Cadalian Road from crossing Bamboo Sanctuary up to Carmen, including Baguio, Cadalian, Wines, Tawantawan, and nearby areas.

Safety is paramount to the company, and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity areas where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
