8-hour power interruption on August 23 in Catigan, Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct an eight-hour power interruption on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., affecting customers in Catigan, Davao City. This is necessary to facilitate line upgrading works.

Specifically affected are customers from the entire Catigan, from the Task Force checkpoint corner Sirawan and Catigan Road and nearby areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
