45-minute power interruption on December 6 in Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct a 45-minute power interruption on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in various parts of Davao City. This is necessary to facilitate the final migration activities for P. Reyes Substation.
To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m..
Specifically affected are those from the entire Dumoy area going to Daliao Toril, including Vales Beach; going to Libby road Toril Memorial via Bago Aplaya road; and nearby areas, and the entire Puan area going to Mercury Ulas and nearby areas.
Also affected are those from Brgy. Lapu-Lapu, Brgy. Centro Extension Agdao, Davao Fire Fighters, Alumina Industries, Agdao Flyover, Gotamco Agdao; from corner Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street, and neighboring areas; from Buhangin area, from Camella Northpoint up to the Orange Grove Hotel.
Customers from the NBI Region XI Office Bajada going to Bacaca area up to Diversion Road entrance to Jade Valley and Earth Grain Diversion Road Underpass, including Garcia Heights, El Rio Vista Village, Rolling Hills Subdivision, Robinsons Highlands, and nearby areas; J.P. Laurel Avenue from Shell Bajada opposite of Bajada Power Plant going to Carmelite Monastery and nearby areas, will also be affected by this service disruption.
Those from Quirino Avenue going to Bankerohan area, including Fr. Selga Street, San Pedro Extension, and portions of A. Pichon Street from Quirino Avenue to WS Shopping Center; portions of Sandawa, New Matina areas up to MTS; from Quirino Avenue corner Mabini Street up to Guzman Street, including portions of Sta. Ana Avenue from Davao Chong Hua High School to Holy Cross College, and Gaisano Mall will also experience this power outage.
Also affected are those from Davao Light Ponciano Office to C. Bangoy Sr. Street up to Bonifacio Street and portions of C.M. Recto Street from San Pedro Cathedral going to RCBC Claveria, including Palma Gil Street; and A. Pichon Street from Bonifacio Monument near Colasas Barbeque to Wisons Shopping Center, including Bolton Extension, SP Building, City Hall, and nearby areas; from C. Bangoy Sr. Street going to San Pedro Street, Rizal Street and portions in Pelayo Street; and portions of J.P. Laurel Avenue from GMall to portions of Quirino Avenue up to Penongs Mabini, and portions of Sta Ana Avenue; and portions of Quirino Avenue going to Gov. Duterte Street, Ilustre Street, portions of Pelayo Street, McArthur Highway up to ADDU Grade School.
Customers from parts of Mabini Street going to portions of F. Torres Street from DCNHS, including J. Camus Extension up to portions of Marfori up to Maa Bypass Road and Riverview Road; from E. Jacinto Extension going to F. Torres Street up to Loyola Street, and portions of Obrero areas will also be affected by this service disruption.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
