Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two sets of power interruptions on October 24 and 25, affecting customers in Catalunan Grande, Mintal and in the northern area of Davao City.

The service disruptions on October 24, Thursday, will be for 30-minutes, which are from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m..

This will be necessary to facilitate relocation of poles along Catalunan Grande road. Specifically affected are customers from Sitio Curvada along Catalunan Grande going to Mintal Cemetery and its nearby areas.

Meanwhile, the power outage on October 25, Friday, will be for 15 minutes only and will be necessary to facilitate upgrading works in Davao Light’s ERA Substation.

The first service disruption will be anytime between 3:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. affecting customers from Km. 9 Sasa near Bangoy Bridge going to DPWH Panacan Office, including Sasa Public Market and nearby areas.

Customers from Gaisano Grand Citygate Buhangin going to Cabantian up to Acacia, including parts of Communal and Indangan will also experience this power interruption. Also affected are customers from Airport View Hotel up to Santol Street along Buhangin Diversion Road and other nearby areas.

The second 15-minute power disruption will be anytime between 3:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. Affected by this power outage are customers from Bottle King, Buhisan up to Holy Cross of Bunawan including Daniel Perez Elementary School and nearby areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
