Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct 15-minute power interruptions on October 6, 2019, Sunday, affecting customers in Downtown and other major areas of Davao City.

These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate line upgrading works and upgrading of Davao Light's 13.8 kV Distribution Line along Maa Road.

The first set of power interruptions will be from 5:00 a.m. to 5:15 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.. Specifically affected are customers from Quezon Boulevard corner Artiaga St. going to Gempesaw Street and nearby areas.

The other set of 15- minute switching power interruptions will be conducted anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m to 5:30 am affecting customers from Maa Crossing along diversion road going to Mandug, including Jade Valley, Juliville and Panorama Subdivisions, Tigatto, Indangan and other neighboring areas.

Meanwhile, another 15-minute power interruption will also be conducted the same day anytime between 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.. This will affect customers from Davao Light Dumoy Substation going to Mulig, Alambre, Bangkas Heights, some parts of Toril proper and nearby areas.

This will be necessary to facilitate the upgrading works of Toril Substation.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
