5-hour power interruption on May 7 in Tugbok and Calinan

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a six-hour power interruption on May 7, Tuesday, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. affecting customers connected to Tugbok Substation.

 

This disruption will be necessary to facilitate upgrading and corrective works in the affected substation and in Davao Light’s 69kV line.

 

Specifically affected are customers from Mintal Elementary School up to Buda. This includes customers in Tugbok Proper, Los Amigos, Baguio District, Calinan Proper and other nearby areas.

 

Meanwhile, two 30-minute power interruptions will also be implemented affecting customers along Catalunan Pequeno, which is from South Pacific Subdivision, up to Mintal public market. 

 

Transfer of loads from the affected lines will be from 12:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.. Normalization or return of loads to normal set-up will be from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m..

 

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
