Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a series of power interruptions on November 30, Wednesday, affecting customers in Cabantian, Davao City.

These service disruptions will be necessary to upgrade the lines along Cabantian Road near Cabantian Elementary School.

The first power interruption will be for 30 minutes anytime between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. to conduct load transfers and isolation of the affected line. Meanwhile, the second power interruption will also be for 30 minutes anytime between 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to return loads back to their normal set-up.

Specifically affected are customers along Cabantian Road, from My Gas Fuel Station to Cabantian Elementary School which includes NCCC Supermarket Cabantian, a portion of Northcrest Subd, and neighboring areas. Also affected are those along Cabantian Road, from Ciudades Subdivision entrance up to Indangan Barangay Hall, and neighboring areas. Additionally, customers along Malagamot Road, from Cabantian Road Junction to those near DCWD Well #4, and neighboring areas will also be affected by these power interruptions.

Separately, an eight-hour power outage will also be conducted on the same day and purpose from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This will affect customers along Cabantian Road, from Cabantian Elementary School up to Ciudades Subdivision entrance, which includes Northtown Subdivision, Celerina Heights, Prestige Subdivision, Deca Homes Indangan, and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
