Davao Light welcomes STI College Surigao. Graduating Computer Engineering students from STI College Surigao visit the Control Center of Davao Light as part of their learning exposure on systems operations on June 9, 2023.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STI College Students learn from Davao Light Engineers. Engr. Mark David Lacuna of the System Operations Department explains the Remote Terminal Unit (Data Concentrator) currently employed in the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The SCADA enables engineers to remotely collect and process data coming from the different franchise areas of Davao Light, making communication between different remote devices easier and more efficient thereby lessening the duration of power outages.
