Davao Light and Power Company

The employees of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. share blessings through the Gift in a Bag Campaign to a total of 500 children. This campaign is an employee-initiated activity which was participated and supported by 100% of Davao Light employees.
Each bag contains loot bags, school supplies, hygiene kit, a box of face mask and a face shield for the children's protection against Covid-19.

These gifts were donated to the beneficiaries of different institutions like the Department of Labor and Employment XI in support to their Project Angel Tree and Project AGAKKA, Balay Dangupan, SOS Children's Village Davao, Our Lady of Victory Training Center, Welfare Action Foundation of Davao, Inc. (Boystown Davao), and Samahan ng may Kapansanan sa Dabaw (SAKADAB). The blessings also reached the children of different institutional care in Davao Light's Davao del Norte franchise areas specifically Panabo and Carmen.

All 500 bags were completely distributed in January 2021 including the additional packed meals and sacks of rice that Davao Light employees donated for charitable institutions.

This outreach program is part of the annual tradition of the employees of Davao Light.
