Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. has been rolling out series of refurbishment on its substations to cater the current and future electricity needs of its franchise area.

One of the substations that has recently undergone upgrade is Davao Light's TADECO Substation in Panabo City. TADECO Substation’s upgrading works involved the increased capacity of its power transformer from 15 MVA to 33 MVA and the installation of modern protection equipment to increase power reliability. 

The City Government of Davao has once again recognized Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. as its top business taxpayer during the Pasidungog: Garbo sa Dabaw last March 15, 2019 at the Enderun Tent, Azuela Cove, Lanang, Davao City in celebration of the 82^nd Araw ng Davao.

A plaque of recognition was given to Davao Light for its unwavering support to the initiatives and programs of the local government in 2018. Moreover, the electric utility's strong support enabled the city to achieve its economic sustainability.

Purok leaders from Brgy. Matina Crossing convened to attend Davao Light and Power Co., Inc.’s Kuryentalks last March 6, 2019 at the Brgy. Hall in Matina Crossing, Davao City.

Kuryentalks is a word-play for kuryente or electricity and talk that aims to educate customers about the services of the company and how to become wiser and safer electricity users.

Davao Light and Power Company's frontline services will be available on March 16 and 18, declared as specialnon-working holidays in Davao City in celebration of the 82^nd Araw ng Davao.

Davao Light’s full service centers in SM Lanang Premiere and in SM City Davao in Ecoland will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m..
