TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS IN FLOOD-STRICKEN AREAS (Jade Valley, Don Julian, Sitio Uyanguren Tigatto, Sitio Gulf Tamugan, DUWHA Road in San Rafael, Domsat and Maa-Riverside):

We deeply apologize that power has not yet been restored in your area after being heavily affected by flood as an effect of Typhoon Vinta.

Your Safety is of utmost importance to us. Based on the advice from our field personnel, until now or 5 days after the flood, meters and outlets might still be wet due to flood waters that entered your homes and establishments. Aside from this, there might also be mud stuck inside your outlets that when power is turned on it may ground your electrical wirings and may lead to fire and electrocution. Subsequently, replacement of wet meters is still ongoing.

Before we can return the electricity supply to your area, we need your cooperation in doing the following:

-Clean your convenience outlets and ensure that they’re dry;
-Make sure that your main switch / breaker system are clean and dry;
-Hire the services of a competent electrician to inspect your homes and/or establishments. Below is the list of Association of Electricians and their respective contact numbers:

DAPREA - 226-2004
UEMD - 224-6174 / 09993621005
IEAD - 224-1529
DURPEES - 284-6793

The management of Davao Light seeks for your understanding and patience. We are doing our best to restore power at the soonest possible time after ensuring the safety of each one of you.
