Three former employees of a local electrical contractor of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) in Davao City were arrested while hiding at Babak, Island Garden City of Samal by PNP personnel and the Davao City Mobile Force Company in two separate operations last December 29, 2021 and January 4, 2022.

Davao Light 99% protected against COVID-19

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) reaches 99.05% protection amongst its employees after having been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of January 5, 2022, 313 out of 316 employees have already been fully vaccinated.

BEST Bus: A year of sustainable and green transportation in Davao City

A year after the launch of the first fully-electric shuttle service in Mindanao, the Business for Environmentally Sustainable Transformation (BEST) Bus Project recorded zero harmful gas emissions and lived by its purpose of providing eco-friendly, safer, and convenient transportation.
