Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light), an AboitizPower subsidiary, received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region XI for its partnership, support, and active participation during the 2022 Industry Forum held on March 2-3, 2022 at SEDA Hotel, Davao City. Davao Light Reputation Enhancement Department Head Fermin Edillon received the award from Engr. Constantino B. Panes Jr., the Center Administrator of the Regional Training Center – Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center Davao. 

Twenty-eight out of 43 linemen sent by AboitizPower subsidiary, Davao Light and Power Co. Inc. (Davao Light), and Aboitiz Foundation are still headstrong in helping Cebu with the restoration of power due to line damages brought about by Typhoon Odette late last year.

Davao City Police Office (DCPO) receives from Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) and its social development arm, Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., office equipment for the administrative operations of its City Mobile Force Company (CMFC). Davao Light President and COO Rodger S. Velasco personally turned over the donation to the Acting Commander of the CMFC, Major Florante S. Retes and was witnessed by DCPO Director Colonel Alberto Lupaz on March 1, 2022.
