Strengthening livelihood of differently-abled persons association affected by COVID-19 crisis

To help strengthen the livelihood of one of the most vulnerable groups severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., through the Livelihood Recovery Project for Partner Cooperatives and Associations Nationwide (REstart), turned over sewing supplies and materials to the members of the Samahan ng may iba't-ibang Kakayahan sa Dabaw (SAKADAB), a group of differently-abled individuals in the Gawad Kalinga community in Los Amigos, Davao City.

LGU of Sto Tomas receives additional support for its vaccination campaign

The month of February was made very memorable for the Municipality of Sto. Tomas as the Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. turned over donations to provide support for the vaccination program of the town.

The donation includes 1,750 vaccine doses and on top of that, Davao Light President and COO Rodger S. Velasco, handed over medical supplies and equipment, food packs, and laptops to Sto. Tomas Mayor Ernesto T. Evangelista.

Ata Manobo students get additional support for online learning

To augment learning and supplement the online class setup during this pandemic, the Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. handed over computer equipment and gadgets to Talos Elementary School, a school catering to mostly Ata Manobo Tribe children located in a far-flung community at Sitio Talos, Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
