Davao Light and Power Co., Inc., an Aboitiz company and a subsidiary of the AboitizPower, has achieved
TÜV Rheinland (TÜVR), which is an internationally accredited certification body that audits the compliance of an organization with international standards, recommended the ISO certification of Davao Light after passing two stages of audit.
A LOT CAN HAPPEN OVER TIME -- over a year ago, aspiring electricians of Brgy. Indangan in Davao City have become full-fledged electricians after their graduation for Project B.E.S.T. (Basic Electrician Skills Training) last April 18, 2018.
Project B.E.S.T. is a project of Davao Light and the Aboitiz Foundation in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Davao City and the Department of Social Works and Development (DSWD)- XI.
The year 2019 has got off to a good start as Davao Light and Power Co., Inc welcomed a total of 238 pawikan hatchlings at the Cleanery Park in Sitio Punta Dumalag, Matina Aplaya.
Last April 3, 92 pawikan hatchlings were released out to the sea. The next day, 10 more hatchlings were released after beingfound trapped in the nest. These hatchlings came from pawikan nest number 1, which was found laid at the Cleanergy Park last February 3.
Starting April 15, 2019, Davao Light and Power Company has fully operationalized a customer service center in its satellite office in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
