Davao Light apologizes for the recurring power interruptions in Cat. Pequeno, Mintal and Tugbok areas

Customers of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. in the areas of Cat. Pequeno, Mintal and Tugbok have experienced recurring power interruptions last August 13 and 14.

Upon initial investigation, the major cause of the power interruption was a technical problem found at the Tugbok Substation, where the affected areas are connected.



To mitigate the impact of the problem, Davao Light has dispatched a round-the-clock monitoring and response team in the said substation.

Further repair works are still ongoing to avoid recurrence of this situation.

Davao Light deeply and sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these power interruptions, which are unscheduled. It will exert its best efforts to resolve the problem the soonest possible time.

Meanwhile, Davao Light assures that there will be no scheduled power interruptions that will affect any Kadayawan-related activities.
