Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Br. Armin A. Luistro, FSC (left) pose with Davao Light & Power Co.'s Fermin Edillon, Community Relations Officer and Rossano Luga, AVP for Corporate Communications & Branding (center and right, respectively) who show the certificate and token given by the DepEd during the 2014 Appreciation Program for Education Partners. 

 

The electric distribution company received the recognition last October 14 at the Meralco Multi-Purpose Hall in Pasig City, for being one of the companies supporting the government's Adopt-a-School program. Through the years Davao Light has been supporting the DepEd through its CSR programs of school building donations, computer donations and scholarships. The company also participates in the annual Brigada Eskwela activity of refurbishing school buildings to prepare the students for the opening of a school year.

Davao Light & Power Co.'s Community Relations Manager, Fermin Edillon hands over the cash grant to Davao City National High School 4th year student, Carmelon Cafe, one of the beneficiaries of the company's financial incentive program for public high school students.
 
This second batch of the releasing of incentives was held last October 11 at the Davao Light Admin Office in Lanang.

Davao Light & Power Co. through its social development arm the Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (AFI) releases the financial incentives of the first batch of public high school beneficiaries last Saturday, September 27 at the Davao Light Admin Office in Lanang.
